1.       Open a new Terminal with root authority

2.       Check iocp status # lsdev –C –H |grep iocp
if status is “Define” execute # smitty iocp
select Configure Defined I/O completion Ports and finish it

3.       Create notes Group
# mkgroup –A notes

4.       Create notes User and add to notes group

5.       Copy Domino driver to /driver/Domino_8

6.       Unzip and Unpack File
# gzip –cd (filename) | tar xvf –

7.       Change directory to /driver/DominoSrv_v8/aix/domino

8.       execute # ./install

9.       Key in yes to use console mode

10.    Click Next at Welcome panel.

11.     Accept the license term then click Next.

12.    Click Next at Program Files Directory Name panel.

13.    Change directory /opt/ibm/lotus/notesdata then click Next.    

14.    Type notes in User Name and Group Name then click Next.

15.    Check Create /opt/ibm/lotus soft link then click Next.

16.    Select Remote from Setup Type drop down list then click Next

17.    Select Domino Enterprise Server then click Next.

18.   Finish the installation.
